This is a part-time position, working approximately 25 hours per week 7-days per week, including nights and weekends at $15.15 an hour. |
JOB SUMMARY |
The Rental Service Assistant is responsible for supervising facility rentals during events to ensure safety, security, and a positive experience for all guests. |
JOB RESPONSBILITIES: Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: |
- Open and close the facility, ensuring spaces are prepared for rental use

- Monitor the event to ensure safety, security, and compliance with rental policies
| |
- Provide basic assistance and customer service to renters and guests as needed
| |
- Report any maintenance, safety, or behavioral concerns to the appropriate staff
| |
- Ensure the facility is left clean, orderly, and ready for future use
| |
- Interface directly with the public to coordinate facility rentals, providing excellent customer service while upholding organizational policies, safety standards, and facility use guidelines
| |
- Manage day-to-day interactions with facility rental clients, balancing hospitality and relationship-building with the consistent application of facility policies and contractual requirements
| |
- Represent the organization in all facility rental interactions by delivering positive customer service and ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and usage agreements

- Adheres to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley’s policies and procedures

- Demonstrates sound judgement and decision-making
| |
- Maintains Club equipment and property to ensure they stay in good working order
| |

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS - Required |
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and be comfortable adapting to new technology.
- If 21 or older, maintains a valid driver’s license and meets eligibility requirements to drive Club vehicles.
- Safety oriented mindset.

- Ability to earn and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.

WORKING CONDITIONS and DRIVING: |
- Some travel required between BGCAZ Branches, schools and community sites
