JOB SUMMARY

 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on digital media advertising. This role plans and manages digital marketing campaigns, creates promotional materials, oversees ad placement, conducts campaign performance measurement, and coordinates with various teams to achieve marketing goals. The Marketing Manager is instrumental in driving BGCAZ's marketing initiatives across multiple programs and stakeholder groups, with particular focus on optimizing digital advertising spend and effectiveness.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

  • Leads the execution of marketing strategies across multiple channels, with primary focus on digital advertising platforms and media buying
  • Develops and optimizes paid digital advertising campaigns across search, social, display, and video platforms
  • Manages digital media budgets and optimizes ad spend to maximize ROI and engagement
  • Implements A/B testing for ad creative, landing pages, and campaign elements to improve performance
  • Creates and manages audience segmentation strategies for targeted advertising
  • Manages and coordinates with external advertising agencies, contractors, and partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and timely project delivery
  • Provides comprehensive marketing support to Club programs and initiatives
  • Designs, develops, and manages targeted digital newsletters for diverse audiences including donors, parents, volunteers, and community partners
  • Drives digital marketing campaigns focused on Club program recruitment and donor management
  • Leads development on social media strategy for donors and recruitment
  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports on marketing campaign performance using Google Analytics, advertising platforms, and other measurement tools
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing objectives with organizational goals
  • Stays current on digital advertising trends, best practices, and platform updates

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION

 

  • Must possess a  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field from an accredited University
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience with specific focus on digital media advertising
  • Minimum of 2 years digital marketing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license
  • Preferred certifications (at least one of the following): 
    • Meta Blueprint certification
    • Google Analytics certification
    • Google Ads certification
    • HubSpot Marketing certification
    • American Marketing Association Professional Certified Marketer

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS

 

  • Proven experience in managing digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize ad spending and improve campaign performance metrics
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics (CPC, CPM, CTR, ROAS, etc.)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
  • Proficient in ad creation tools and ad management platforms
  • Strong track record in email/digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, WordPress, Google Ads platform, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Hootsuite, and Microsoft Suite

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS and DRIVING

 

  • Travel between Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley site and schools and various field trip sites as well as in the community is required. Must meet the insurance standards of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley
  • Work is primarily performed in the Club and local community
  • Evening and weekend work is required on an as-needed basis
