Data and Outcome Manager
Job Description
The Data Analytics & Outcomes Manager is responsible for managing comprehensive data systems that will allow BGCAZ to make data-informed decisions and uphold the highest level of standards for performance and outcomes. The position will ensure consistent data collection, analysis and learning exists across BGCAZ so that data can inform strategic direction and oversight to the organization.
JOB RESPONSBILITIES
- Encourages BGCAZ “Rules of Engagement” and incorporates into day to day interactions with staff
- Provides accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports and narratives to various internal and external stakeholders, including BGCA annual report, dashboard management and various grant reports
- Manages internal performance measurement work and ensures ongoing proper data entry and quality
- Manages and trains teams on the member management system and provides technical support
- Designs and implements reporting procedures, manages the systems for extracting data, and provides analysis
- Provides organizational staff with internal performance management reports that show progress towards the achievement of goals and outcomes
- Partners with other departments to ensure organizational compliance, grant requirements, and partner agreements
- Manages the process of scheduling and facilitating regular data audits and trainings for all staff
- Supports evaluations, processes to assist with policy discussions, refinement of programs and key resource allocation and investment decisions
- Continuous Quality Improvement
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data system administration, training, program evaluation, and impact analysis
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of nonprofit/social sector business operations
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS
- Demonstrated ability to manage research, evaluation, or performance management projects
- Effective operational and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive action plans and see them through to completion
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, coordinate and direct multiple activities with varied deadlines and deliver in a timely manner
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex information and recommend creative, practical and high impact solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of assessing outcomes and creating policies, procedures and standard operating procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively while demonstrating emotional intelligence
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel power-user)
- Extreme attention to detail and strong follow through skills
WORKING CONDITIONS and DRIVING
- Travel between BGCAZ Branches, schools and community sites is required
- Work is performed in our Program Services Center-Administrative offices
